SAF supported negotiations with Cooking Space’s landlord enabling them to purchase solar with 100% finance.
Tibaldi is a well known and trusted Australian smallgoods manufacturer, established in 1934 by the Tibaldi family.
They pursued this project to gain long-term energy security and cost control, maximise the value of the roof space, and demostrate to their clients and customers that Tibaldi takes sustainability seriously.
The project involved the installation of 1.066MW roof mount solar PV system including 2962 panels, mounting systems, inverters and monitoring system.
This was the 1st EUA in Monash City Council who introduced the client to SAF.
SAF partner Beon Energy Solutions was successful in winning the business under tender, who then engaged SAF to finance the works over ten years.
At the time of installation, the 1.066MW system was the largest solar EUA signed, and one of the largest roof mounted solar systems in Victoria.
“We are always looking at innovation and sustainability of our business, so using the amazing amount of roof space on site for a large scale solar system was an easy decision to make.”
“This will help lower the cost of electricity, provide environmental benefits by reducing the reliance on the grid and also make Tibaldi more competitive.”
