Expanding Horizons Incentive – Terms & Conditions
1. Background
The Sustainable Australia Fund (SAF) is a for-purpose company. We provide an innovative and highly competitive form of finance which facilitates building upgrade projects to drive positive environmental and sustainable business growth.
SAF Council partners have a pivotal role in enabling this unique form of finance and we regularly seek to engage with and onboard new councils in order to expand our geographical reach and to support the further growth of our installer partners.
We welcome the opportunity to provide the following installer incentive to selected partners to facilitate project activity within designated new SAF council partner jurisdictions.
2. Incentive Amount
For SAF loan applications which meet the Eligibility Criteria, we will:
a. Pay $500 (including GST as applicable) to your nominated bank account within 30 days of final loan drawdown of the relevant loan application; and
b. Waive the application fee (currently $660) levied by SAF or its subsidiary Better Building Finance. Note that other fees (SAF establishment fees and Council fees) may continue to apply for loan applicants.
3. Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible for the Incentive (as per Section 2):
a. We must receive a SAF loan application in relation to a Project within the Incentive Period (as per Section 4);
b. The SAF loan application must be subsequently approved by us and proceed to settlement;
c. The total approved loan amount must be at least $10,000;
d. The Project will be installed by a Participating Installer (as per Section 5) and as named in the SAF loan Application;
e. The Project must be located in a Participating Council Area (as per Section 7);
f. The SAF Loan Applicant must not be a related party of the Participating Installer (including staff, directors or their immediate family);
g. The Project and Loan Applicant must not have previously received any incentive payments under this program or any other incentive program offered by us; and
h. The Company and Loan Applicant must follow any reasonable instructions provided by SAF in order to allow SAF to fulfil its obligations under this Agreement.
4. Incentive Period
The Incentive Period is currently 1st March 2022 to 30th June 2022 or as otherwise extended or modified by SAF. Applications received before this date are eligible for the rebate/incentive.
5. Participating Installers
In order to be a Participating Installer in this program you must:
a. Return an Agreement signed by a duly authorised representative (CEO, MD or similar) capable of accepting these terms and all obligations on behalf of the Company;
b. Provide the names and contact details of all relevant Company sales staff to enable SAF to provide any training in regard to SAF its products and associated tools;
c. The sales staff provided in 5.1(b) must have completed SAF training and be sufficiently knowledgeable in SAF, our finance products and offers, and our quotation and other tools to our satisfaction; and
d. Comply with the requirements of: any other SAF agreements, policies and guidelines; and all applicable laws, regulations and codes-of-conduct as applicable to you and/or the works being undertaken in relation to the Project.

7. General
You acknowledge and agree:
a. that SAF, at its sole discretion and at any time without prior notice, may: cease to offer this incentive; and/or modify its terms, including changes to the Eligibility Criteria, Incentive Period, Participating Installer requirements and/or Participating Councils; either for all participating companies or an individual company;
b. That SAF, its related parties, staff, and agents will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence or wilful misconduct) in connection with this Agreement, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law);
c. In the event of any dispute, SAF will make a determination which will be final and conclusive; and
d. This Agreement is governed by the laws of Victoria.
